What you'll see here is the simplicity of faith. We circumvent all the formal, stuffy notions that organized religion has programmed into our minds, the notions created by man over the ages to satisfy his need for power and control, the same notions that push God's children further away from Him rather than bringing them in union with Him. A relationship, a friendship, with Jesus is very much like a friendship you have with anyone else--it need not, and should not, be any more formal than that. It's so simple, yet we overlook it constantly. We take on problems and challenges that become enormous struggles for us, yet He can handle them so easily for us. Trust me, if He can create the universe--this earth, all the stars and space you see when you look up at the sky at night and everything that lies beyond that--He can certainly handle the issues of our daily lives, no matter how big they seem to us.

God is not the lightning wielding tyrannical being who can only be approached by following very careful steps mandated by the organized religions, along with the obligatory financial offering to help keep their well oiled corporate machine well lubricated. No, the God of my faith is far from that. He is a gentle father, friend and confidant; loving beyond our ability to comprehend, always waiting for us with open arms. He desires so much to be included in our lives, though He will never force His way in. For how absolutely enormous He is, His presence is subtle, His movements gentle and the knowledge that He has you in the palm of his hand is a feeling that must be experienced to understand. The problems and obstacles in our lives that seem so big to us are all matters He can take care of so easily, and He WANTS to take care of them for us. We only need to invite Him into our lives, and ask Him to take care of everything. Then just watch and see how he actually starts guiding your steps, how things in your life begin to happen that you might have otherwise called coincidence or luck. No, there is no coincidence, there is no luck, there is His hand working in your life. As I said, this is something you have to experience to fully understand, and once you've experienced it, you'll wonder how people do without it.
